If you have ever drove down I-75 going toward downtown, you will smell it and see it. It is terrible, I hate driving that way, it smells really bad.Does the oil refinery in Southwest Detroit belch out a lot of stink gas or is it under control?
Yes, and be prepared, Marathon is planning on expanding the refinery too. So depending on the direction, you may be able to smell it as far away as Downtown.
Pretty much of detroit stinks so its hard to tell...
It's not the refinery but the Rouge River.
